How You Can Help
Your donation directly supports community members who are underinsured, uninsured, or experiencing financial hardship. These funds function as shared pots of money that allow us to reduce barriers to care and respond to real-time needs across our clinic. Funds may be used to support medical care, mental health services, physical therapy, HIV clinic services, and to help cover short-term membership payment lapses so patients can remain connected to care during difficult periods. You may choose which fund your contribution supports, or allow us to prioritize where it is most needed. When donating via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or check, please specify which fund you would like your donation applied to. Example: “Pay to the Order Of: Black Healthcare Fund”.
How to Direct Your Donation:
Please include the name of the fund in the payment note when donating via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or check. Examples: “Black Healthcare Fund,” “Trans/Gender-Affirming Healthcare Fund,” or “General Healthcare Fund.” If no fund is specified, your donation will be allocated based on current community priorities.
Black Healthcare Fund
The Black Healthcare Fund exists to reduce barriers to care for Black clients and patients navigating systemic inequities within healthcare systems. Donations to this fund support access to care for Black community members who are underinsured or experiencing financial hardship. This fund may be used for Black clients and patients to support:
Trans and Gender-Affirming Healthcare Fund
The Trans and Gender-Affirming Healthcare Fund supports trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive clients and patients in accessing affirming, competent healthcare. Contributions help cover services that are often excluded, limited, or delayed by insurance. This fund may be used for Trans and Gender Non-Conforming clients and patients to support:
General Healthcare Fund
The General Healthcare Fund provides flexible support for all clients and patients facing financial barriers to care. Donations to this fund allow us to respond to immediate needs across our community and prioritize care based on urgency, access gaps, and continuity of care. This fund may be used for all clients and patients to support:
- Primary care and preventative services
- Hormone-related visits and monitoring
- Mental health care through individual or group therapy
- Psychiatric care
- Gender-affirming care
- Physical therapy services
- HIV clinic services
- Short-term support for healthcare membership payment lapses
