Therapy Groups: Parent-Child Estrangement Group (For Parents)
Description: Parent/child estrangement is an experience rooted in deep grief and a longing for personal, emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual safety. Parents experiencing estrangement from a child or children deserve to have a space of radical acceptance where they can process their experience alongside others who can hold that space with them. This therapy group seeks to create that space. While each member will have different goals for group therapy, it is the group leader’s hope that participation in this group leads to greater centeredness, grounding, integration, and healing for each member.
Day/Time: This group meets on Tuesdays from 12-1:30pm. This group will be ongoing, so it is open to new members.
Meeting Space: Virtual
Contact Methods: Interested potential group members can reach out to Chris Williams (he/him) directly through email, phone, or text, whichever is easiest: chris@newrootstherapy.net, (919) 525-1712
