Flexible Appointment Options

 

  • In-Person and Virtual Care: We provide in-person appointments in Durham and remote care across North Carolina via a secure telehealth platform.
  • *Please note that some medications may require in-person visits and cannot be treated via teleheath 

Insurance and
Payment Options

  • Insurance Coverage: Accepting most in-state and out-of-state BCBS plans (except for Blue Local, Blue Value, and Blue Home plans), Aetna, United Healthcare, and Cigna. Medcost will be accepted in the near future.
  • Self-Pay and Sliding Scale: We offer options for self-pay clients, including sliding scale services, to make care accessible to all.

Katie Henkel,
PA-C

(she/her)

Katie is a Physician Assistant who has been dedicated to practicing medicine in the Las Vegas area since 2017. With a strong background in Psychiatry, Addiction, and Emergency Medicine, she brings a wealth of experience to her patients.

Katie has worked in various detoxification settings, where she has assisted her patients in their journey towards sobriety and mental clarity. In her current role, she focuses on providing compassionate care to the LGBTQ, Black, Indigenous, and multiracial communities, tailoring individualized treatment plans to ensure each patient achieves the best possible outcome.

Beyond her professional commitments, Katie enjoys immersing herself in nature through hiking and capturing its beauty through landscape photography.

    Nicholas Little,
    PA-C

    they/them and he/him

    Nicholas Little, PA-C, is a dedicated and compassionate physician assistant with experience in providing inclusive mental health care. He earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Wright State University and his MS in Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College. Throughout his career he has been a strong advocate for systemically marginalized communities
    to create more inclusive environments.

    Nicholas is experienced in treating an array of mental health disorders: ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, personality disorders, psychosis, and PTSD. He adopts a holistic and collaborative approach to healthcare, focusing on creating an environment where individuals feel invested and involved in their mental health. He is passionate about expanding and improving mental healthcare for the BIPOC and LGBT+ communities in North Carolina.

    Outside of work, he enjoys immersing himself in art through painting and running along nature trails.

      Donyelle Miller,
      PMHNP, CNM, MSN, IBCLC

      (she/her)

      Donyelle Miller, P.M.H.N.P., C.N.M., M.S.N., I.B.C.L.C. (she/her) is a fierce and compassionate advocate for her community. Her lived experiences as a Black, self-identified woman, mother, sister, auntie, daughter, and partner have given her unique insights into supporting folks on their journeys toward healing.

      Donyelle utilizes a strength-based, holistic approach that incorporates a liberation-focused framework, utilizing somatic and embodiment practices, as well as client-centered medication prescribing and management.

      She is committed to creating a space for people from communities that have been systematically harmed to continue working toward healing from the profound impacts of systemic oppression and marginalization.

        Haley Pittman received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Boston University.

        Haley has broad experience in treating various psychiatric illnesses across all age groups. She believes that compassion, empathy, and active listening are the key cornerstones to mental healthcare. She is committed to embracing and celebrating diversity, including the LGBTQ+ community.

          Expect a comprehensive approach involving initial consultations, assessment and diagnosis review, understanding your specific needs, possible lab tests, live check-ups, and adjustments to your medication regimen as necessary.
