Hello, my name is Lala Bailey (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. As a mental health advocate and clinician, I am passionate about cultivating an inclusive space for all clients to receive support. I believe therapy is a partnership, and I enjoy partnering with clients to reach a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. I understand that individuals are a collection of their lived experiences and it is my passion to meet clients where they are at and assist them in meeting their goals.

In my practice, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities including CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. I am dedicated to fostering inclusivity and operate from an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and social justice-driven perspective. I work with children, teens, and adults and I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating various life transitions, anxiety, and grief.

I like to tell folks that therapy with me is like taking a road trip. On the journey, you are driving the car and I’m alongside you in the passenger seat. Along the way, I may pull out a roadmap and point out possible routes, but you are the expert of your lived experiences and get to decide what path to take. Just like any road trip, there may be some bumps along the way, but in session we can navigate the bumps together. My hope is that along the way you will develop a deeper sense of self, purpose, and peace. It would be an honor to accompany you along your life’s journey.

More about Madison

As a white cisgender queer woman, I am deeply passionate about human rights and actively engage in social justice concerns as both a clinician and an advocate. Utilizing feminist and multicultural counseling approaches, I assist clients in dismantling internalized systems such as capitalism, misogyny, gender norms, racism, homophobia, and fatphobia that limit mental well-being.

My focus is on creating a liberating space where clients can feel seen and safe enough to engage with vulnerability. Presenting as my authentic self helps dispel potential power differentials and fosters the most therapeutically beneficial relationship possible.

With experience guiding children, adolescents, and adults, I address a wide range of presentations, including general anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, depression, personality disorders, neurodivergence, behavioral concerns, and trauma. My clinical interests encompass shame, body image concerns, identity exploration, assertiveness training, interpersonal relationships, and inner child work through dialectical behavior and schema therapy.

Recognizing the importance of preventative work, I engage in positive reinforcement parent training and behavioral management with children struggling with dysregulation. Regardless of age or concerns, I am honored and humbled when clients trust me with their emotions, identities, and life experiences. As a clinician, my priority is to meet clients where they are, making them feel seen, supported, and empowered.

To prioritize mental well-being and community strength, I incorporate moments of joy and rest. I believe in the healing power of play and mindfulness, utilizing creative interventions like guided imagery, body work, art activities, narrative techniques, and games. Outside the counseling space, my interests include ceramics, painting, woodworking, spending time with loved ones, exploring outdoors, and anything related to dinosaurs. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to well-being.

More about Jennifer

Hello all, my name is Jennifer Gil, I am comfortable with any and all pronouns. My theoretical orientation emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I use an Intergrative approach where I draw from modalities such as CBT, IFS, Psychodynamic, and Existential therapy.

At the core of my conceptualization and practice are the principles of Liberation Psychology. I feel deeply connected to the principle of “tu eres mi otro yo” or “you are my other me”, allowing the self (you) to be reflected in (me) and vice versa. Together we become active participants in the process of experimenting with more helpful patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Though the therapeutic relationship emphasizes the client, I believe in an interconnectedness, in creating a space where we mutually heal each other. Where we accompany each other through our life journeys, showing up as authentically human as we can. I believe that trust is earned and our therapeutic relationship will be no exception. Through respect, empathy, compassion, radical humility and humor I hope to achieve this with you.

Some of my clinical interest and specialties include, life transitions, grief, trauma, substance use, chronic pain, relational difficulties, identity exploration, depression, anxiety and PTSD. I am interested in working with individuals accross the lifespan from teens to older adults, as well as those with multiple intersecting identities and Spanish speaking individuals. Throughout various employment opportunities and my educational journey I have had the honor of working with underserved and marganilized populations. Through these experiences I have been carefully gifted with knowledge, ancestral wisdom and liberating values that I apply in my clinical practice. I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Idaho with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion. I provisionally licensed to practice in Arizona and pursuing licensure in NC.

In my free time I loveeeee to nap and rest. I love to spend time with family and friends sharing stories and using humor. I also enjoy engaging in art, (drawing or carving for lino prints). I enjoy long boarding and snowboarding. I have a special interest in photography and have been honing my skills over the last few years.

More about Reanna

Healing can be a slow process that moves in a spiral; often prompting you to confront similar themes in different chapters of your life. Maybe this is your first time in counseling, or maybe you are wondering “How am I back here again?” Whatever part of this journey you are on, I welcome the opportunity to support you in your travels.

My counseling approach is person-centered—rooted in disability justice, radical Black feminist theory, and an exploration of decolonization practices. The top 3 counseling therapies I integrate in sessions are Psychodynamic Theory, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I am currently pursuing a certification in Expressive Arts Therapy.

I affirm folks from Black, Indigenous, Latine, Arab, and Asian (BILAA) backgrounds; as well as the 2SLGBTQIA+, kink/BDSM, and sex worker communities. Most of my clients are navigating systemic oppression, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, neurodivergence, relationship concerns, ethical non-monogamy/polycules, identity exploration, and adjustment to change. I focus on creating comforting spaces that allow clients to explore emotional vulnerability, strengthen the mind-body connection, and practice relational skills. I’m big on providing resources and helping people establish community care circles.

I am a light-skinned biracial (Black & white) nonbinary queer, navigating a chronic illness. I received my MSED in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. I’m a performance artist, cartoon lover, meandering hiker, loyal friend, and dog dad.

When working with clients, I aim to fully understand their story to help them understand themselves. Living as a sexual, gender, religious, and racial minority means I sit at the intersections of multiple marginalized identities. My lived experiences have led me to foster abolitionist radical healing predominantly in QTPOC (queer and trans people of color) communities. I deeply believe that we navigate the world as authors of our epic adventures, which shape our identities and self-concepts.

My therapy style combines narrative and feminist techniques to provide each client with empowering tools to craft their story. Through this approach, we can work together to make space for and understand your lived experience in our sessions. As your therapist, I aim to help you use your history to shift your present narrative. We can do this by honoring not only the factors that influence you — but the factors that you influence. In doing so, I hope we can use our sessions to build a foundation to write and rewrite your story confidently and continuously.

To expand my knowledge and better support my clients, I have additional training in human sexuality and gender, traumatology, radical healing, abolitionist psychology, and embodied approaches (i.e., focusing on the body’s physiological processes). I know that supportive communities help foster supported individuals, so I have also taken the time to learn from abolitionist organizations in the South about the principles, applications, and values of utilizing transformative justice as an approach to community harm and conflict in and out of therapy. My therapeutic focus often includes identity development, interpersonal processing, emotional processing, trauma, intracommunal conflict, grief, anxiety, and depression.

I find time to play by gardening, hiking, singing, roller skating, and more recently, learning how to forage. I am currently under the supervision of Marvice D. Marcus, Ph.D.

More about Jay

I’m a non-binary, neurodivergent transperson from the Southeast. I’m passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ adults by honoring their self-determination. I have a relational, warm and intuitive style and I aim to co-create an atmosphere of non-judgment, trust and curiosity for self-exploration and processing life experiences. I believe we all benefit from learning to co-create non-judgmental, unconditionally accepting containers to practice our liberation together.

I collaborate with clients to address root causes of undesirable behaviors, perspectives and/or relational patterns, such as adverse childhood experiences, relational trauma and harmful social conditioning. I enjoy supporting clients in connecting to authenticity, integrity and self-acceptance and by practicing living in alignment with their values, passions and innate talents.

My approach incorporates elements of mindfulness, spirituality, harm reduction, creative self-expression, self-compassion and embodiment practices while building balance, structure and wisdom in areas of stress management and self-care. I am fluent in astrology, human design, numerology, and other esoteric and mystical wisdom traditions, and enjoy supporting clients through spiritual emergence and transformation.

I use innovative, personalized, and collaborative processes to chart out a unique path for you to gain self-knowledge, deepen self-trust, and develop the wellness practices and quality of life you desire. By engaging in therapy, you are choosing to pursue a more authentic connection to yourself, to others, and to a more fulfilling life.

Outside of sessions, I enjoy trail running, functional fitness routines, exploring nature, dancing at raves and music festivals, discovering new music, queering spirituality and studying psychedelic psychotherapy, metabolic psychiatry, astrology, human design, numerology, and learning new forms of creative self-expression.

I am Black queer Nigerian American born and raised in North Carolina. I love it here.
I am committed to cultivating a holistic therapeutic practice that centers Black LGBTQIA
individuals and relationships.

As a community organizer, trainer and facilitator for the past decade, my commitment to building
power alongside the most oppressed communities to create change deeply shapes my
therapeutic practice. I am committed to building a trauma informed practice which involves an
array of culturally competent interventions that can best serve you. I take a client centered
approach that helps the therapeutic process feel collaborative.

Particularly, I am committed to developing these approaches and interventions to better serve:
● Individuals who have experienced childhood trauma,
● Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression and those who struggle with self esteem.
● Life transitions
● Navigating issues within relationships and community
● Those with an interest in learning more about how their relationship to their body shapes
their relationship to their healing.
● Self discovery & identity exploration

Outside of therapy, I enjoy museums, live music, and great dance parties. Home cooked food
and quality time with friends are just a couple of ways I stay grounded. I look forward to being a part of your journey in healing, growth, struggle, and transformation.

More about Sara

I aim to create a supportive space to partner with clients in their healing process. I have over a decade of experience working with adult and youth trauma survivors and their loved ones. I partner with folks seeking support with trauma recovery, anxiety, parenting, reproductive health (pregnancy, abortion, loss, etc), adoption/fostercare, grief, burnout, compassion fatigue, and/or identity exploration. I am a White, straight, cisgender mother who is dedicated to personal and collective liberation from White supremacy, capitalism, and patriarchy.

I have specialized training in a variety of evidence-based trauma, grief, anxiety, and attachment treatments. Mindful-self compassion, embodiment, Health At Every Size (HAES), and feminist practices inform my therapeutic approach. It is my honor to offer therapy in English and Spanish.

Outside of work, I delight in my family (biological and chosen), cooking, animals, and Rupaul’s Drag Race.

More about Andy

As an LMFT and RPT, I use Family Systems thinking and Play Therapy as therapeutic lenses to work with every client across the lifespan. This means that I try to factor in all parts of the client’s lives when setting and working towards therapeutic goals AND I like to have fun along the way because therapy can be hard work! What I enjoy most about my work is coming alongside clients (and their families if that’s what they’re looking for) to meet them where they’re at and try to help them figure out how to get closer to where they want to be. As a clinician, I’m passionate about helping clients establish different thought patterns, learning new skills, or getting connected to local resources. However, it doesn’t matter what I know until I know what’s going on in your world. I provide unconditional positive regard for clients along their journey with the intention of better understanding each client’s world and how they relate to each other. Working with Trans and Gender Diverse populations is something I’m particularly passionate about which is why I am working towards being certified in The World Professional Association for Transgender Health, Standards of Care.

More about Matt

Welcome! I am a white agender queer LCSWA with a background in illustration and a warm, curious attitude. I strongly believe in the healing power of an affirming and empowering therapeutic relationship. It is my goal to create a space where you can develop a deeper understanding of yourself, guided by your own values, dreams, and history. My approach is relational and collaborative: together we can find a path through the woods. I have a special passion for working with folks who are transgender or gender-nonconforming, those who are neurodivergent, and people with non-monogamous orientations. I welcome into the room discussions of how forces of oppression such as transphobia, racism, or ableism impact your access to joy and safety.

In my practice, I frequently pull on concepts from ACT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy. Due to my past life as an artist, I welcome integrating creativity into therapy – art has a way of making connections that words may struggle to capture. No matter what you are facing, I am grateful to share this space with you.

Outside of the Radical Healing Collaborative, I can generally be found smothering my two anxious pitbull sons with attention.

Originally from Las Vegas, I attended the University of Nevada-Reno. There, I earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology. I am endeared to UNR, as it was a place of boundless educational opportunities and vibrant social connections. I completed a predoctoral internship at Duke University Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) in 2016. Shortly before transitioning to full-time independent practice, I became the Director of Training Programs and Assistant Director of Duke University CAPS.

In my free time, I am nourished by spending time with family and friends (laughter!), caring for my hyper dog, reading and listening to music, and watching basketball and ridiculous television shows. Living vicariously through others is, well, fun sometimes.
