Throughout my career as a social worker and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from many walks of life, including children on the autism spectrum, adolescents, adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and incarcerated persons. My experience spans a range of concerns such as substance use disorders, unwanted behaviors and concerns, and clinical mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, anger management, personality disorders, chronic suicidality,. self-harm, PTSD, grief, and trauma.
As a therapist, I believe each client is the expert of their own life. My role is to walk alongside you—offering guidance, support, and tools to help you reach your goals. I value the complexities of identity and intersectionality and strive to create a space where all experiences are seen and respected.
I commonly use therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients achieve their short and long term goals and to build a life more worth living . I’m an avid learning and invest a lot of time and attention to honing my professional counseling skills to better serve the diverse needs of my clients.
I deeply admire the courage it takes to seek therapy and recognize the strength in vulnerability. I look forward to supporting you as you navigate life’s challenges and work toward growth and healing.
When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring vegetarian cuisine, exercising, reading, watching and discussing movies, thrifting and supporting small or second-hand shops, traveling, and spending time with my dog.
