Practice Coordinator Role:
I was raised near Scranton, PA (Yes, the one from The Office). I studied Literature in NYC before spending several years working in independent publishing. Carrboro has been my home since 2017.
I love helping people and have had the honor of working with so many wonderful folks on mutual aid and volunteer projects over the years. Most recently, I have focused my time on supporting healing in my community by learning everything I can about transformative justice minded conflict resolution. I have trained in mediation at The Dispute Settlement Center, recently worked as the Wellness Facilitator at Girls Rock summer camp, and authored a wellness zine.
My primary hobbies are making chain maille and singing to my two very fluffy tuxedo cats.
Training Fellowship Role:
I am a first-year Master’s of Social Work student at Smith College and also work at Radical Healing part-time in an administrative role.
I am a white, transgender/non-binary, queer person. I grew up in a de-industrialized coal-mining town where the culture of unionization helped me develop my deeply held belief in the power of solidarity and mutual aid. I am a certified mediator. I create free mediation, communication, and wellness resources informed by a transformative justice approach.
