Hi all! My name is Ashley McNatt (she/her). I am a straight, cis, Filipinx relational therapist. I find passion in working with multicultural couples and families, people in the LGBTQ+ community, BIPOC folks, and any people that are going through relationship issues, grief, trauma, acculturation issues, pregnancy/postpartum, and/or navigating difficult changes in life. My intention as a therapist is to offer each client care with compassion, curiosity, empathy, and a non-judgmental space for clients to feel safe in exploring the depths of their being, and how they may be the most effective and supportive in their relationships. I know that inner wisdom is present in each of us, and I aim to work collaboratively with clients navigating all relationship types including ethical non-monogomay, poly relationships, friendships, work partnerships, siblings and family dyads.
I think that therapy can be a space to digest issues and deeper wounds, and to offer tools to strengthen connection within ourselves & others, in order to bring harmony, growth, and healing. With my marriage and family therapy background, I bring in a systemic lens in therapy and I use a variety of therapeutic approaches such as emotionally focused therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), somatic psychotherapy, polyvagal theory, Bowen, Gottman, CBT, and feminist theories. Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, seeing live music, dancing, teaching and practicing yoga, reading, learning something new, and spending quality time with my family, friends, and my long haired dachshund, Bodie.
