I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor, visual artist, and photographer who infuses warmth, affirmation, and humor into my work with clients. It is a genuine honor for me to hold clients’ stories and experiences. A former drag performer, a new-ish parent, and a super-fat, nonbinary queer individual, I am fully committed to this work and have a profound passion for collaborating with others in the pursuit of liberation.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in a social justice lens, providing collaboration through person-centered, DBT, Mindfulness, and multicultural theories. Working with adults in individual and group counseling formats, I recognize the impact of clients’ lives not only based on their identities and beliefs but also on how they navigate and are seen in the world.
Dedicated to community engagement and social justice, I am mindful that we do not exist in a vacuum. My professional areas of interest include LGBTQ+, BIPOC, somatic healing, grief, depression, race-based trauma, and anxiety. Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my partner and our fearless three-year-old who teaches me bravery every day. My interests span plants, cooking, movies, astrology, reading, and interior design. I find joy in challenging heteronormative agendas and dismantling the patriarchy a little bit each day. Rejuvenating my spirit involves being in water, admiring beautiful things, connecting with my chosen family, laughter, and feeling loved. I am here to support you on your journey to holistic healing and liberation.
