I am a psychotherapist and licensed clinical mental health counselor deeply rooted in community love and guided by a commitment to social justice. I strive to create life-affirming spaces that support and celebrate all people, especially queer, trans and BIPOC folx.
I’m the founder of the Radical Healing campus and collective and I currently serve as the Director of Vision and Strategy. My work involves supporting a sustainable approach to more accessible mental health care and wellness in Durham and beyond and creating culturally responsive healing and training through individual and group therapy approaches and clinical supervision. I am actively involved in facilitating DBT Skills Groups for Queer & Trans Folx and collaborating with the Internship Fellows Training Team to develop a year-long mental health practitioner training program with an anti-oppression and social justice lens.
I currently use DBT, EMDR, psychoanalysis and other contemplative, mindfulness practices to help support and guide my clinical practice with patients.
As an explorer with a long, storied search for home, I have traveled to many countries on five continents and have lived and studied in the United States, Spain, Argentina and South Korea. In 2012, I rooted deeply into Durham and currently share her with my family and an abundance of houseplants.
