I am a Certified Professional Coder, having recently obtained my diploma from GTCC and my certification through the AAPC.
Originally from England, I grew up in North Carolina and have lived here for over 20 years. My background as a caregiver in a memory care unit, combined with my experience as a trans person, has instilled in me a strong commitment to promoting accessibility and dignity in healthcare. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my child, my partner, and our many pets.
I have recently been getting into furniture restoration and repair while learning how to do minor handiwork. I love birdwatching, creating art, watching movies, and going down research rabbit holes.
