Jemm Merritt, MSc, AHI, RMA, CPSS, CHW V (they/them) is a Haitian American public health professional, peer support specialist, and educator originally from New York, now living in North Carolina. With expertise in gender-affirming care, harm reduction, and recovery support, Jemm merges professional insight with lived experience to create compassionate, equity-driven systems of care.
As a queer, nonbinary person of Haitian descent, Jemm’s work is deeply personal and powerfully community-oriented. Their mission is to center dignity, intersectionality, and radical love in every space they enter, helping to reimagine what collective care can look like.
