Hi all! My name is Jennifer Nguyen (she/hers) and I am the Medical Care Coordinator at Radical Healing.
I am excited to join the team at Radical Healing to provide safe, inclusive, and affirming care to members of our community. I graduated with my BSW in 2024, and expecting to graduate with my MSW in 2025.
As someone who is a queer woman with Latino and Asian heritage – I understand the depths of our communities and how traditional healthcare structures are oppressive in nature to us. My heart is in advocating for us and deconstructing these harmful biases and ideas that surround our communities – in order to promote a healthier community. After graduating, I plan to work in the healthcare field as a social worker addressing the behavioral/mental health needs of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ patients.
In my free time I love to sew, paint, draw, and cook. Before my career change, I worked as a tailor/seamstress.
