More About Kristy Miller

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (she/her) coming to the Radical Healing Collective with over 10 years of experience working with a diverse set of clients, primarily within the healthcare system. I have a strong commitment to social justice and anti-racism work, a history of advocating for inclusive and equitable spaces, as well as a focus on accessibility of services and providing care to the whole person. I aim to create a supportive, collaborative, non-judgmental space for folks to explore their identities, find healing, and generally become the best versions of themselves.

I have a passion for working with folks who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, those who are neurodivergent, who experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, relationship issues, and/or who have experienced trauma. I have experience working with adolescents (12+), adults, and couples/relationships.  I am trained in and comfortable
utilizing many different therapeutic techniques, depending on what a client may need, including CBT, solution-focused, trauma-informed, mindfulness, and person-centered
practices.

I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which utilizes eye movements to process distressing memories and is effective in treating concerns related to trauma, anxiety, depression, sleep issues, addiction, and much more.  Additionally, as a Reiki Master and practitioner and teacher of Kundalini Yoga, I encourage clients to explore the energetic relationships between mind and body. When I’m not working, you can find me traveling with my wife, cuddling with our current foster dog, volunteering in the community, reading, running, doing yoga, camping, hiking, and generally being outdoors! I am a believer in the restorative powers of nature and enjoy bringing the same sense of grounding to my therapy sessions.
