Hello, my name is Lala Bailey (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a mental health advocate and clinician, I am passionate about cultivating an inclusive space for all clients to receive support. I believe therapy is a partnership, and I enjoy partnering with clients to reach a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. I understand that individuals are a collection of their lived experiences and it is my passion to meet clients where they are at and assist them in meeting their goals.
In my practice, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities including CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, play therapy, and sand tray therapy. I am dedicated to fostering inclusivity and operate from an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and social justice-driven perspective. I work with children, teens, and adults and I’m passionate about supporting individuals navigating various life transitions, anxiety, and grief.
I like to tell folks that therapy with me is like taking a road trip. On the journey, you are driving the car and I’m alongside you in the passenger seat. Along the way, I may pull out a roadmap and point out possible routes, but you are the expert of your lived experiences and get to decide what path to take. Just like any road trip, there may be some bumps along the way, but in session we can navigate the bumps together. My hope is that along the way you will develop a deeper sense of self, purpose, and peace. It would be an honor to accompany you along your life’s journey.
