Walking alongside folks in their journeys of exploration, discovery, and healing is an honor. I center my practice around connection, trust, warmth, and curiosity. My hope is to work together to build a strong therapeutic relationship and co- create a safe space where you can feel seen and heard. I approach this work through a liberatory, social justice-oriented, and trauma-informed lens that centers your lived experience and honors your wisdom, strength, and courage that have helped you exist within harmful and oppressive systems.
I bring over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various community settings, schools, and a multi-specialty medical clinic. Much of my work has supported adolescents, caregivers, queer folks, and neurodivergent individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, IDD, sensory processing, anger and emotion regulation, behavioral challenges, and learning differences.
I have received traditional training in Trauma-Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I am a Credentialed Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through PATH, International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship). I have a special interest in studying the mind-body relationship, as well as practicing connection with the natural world around us.
