Dr Rheaya Willis (she/they) is a third generation Durhamite. Rheaya completed her undergraduate studies at Yale University and obtained her medical degree from Duke University. During her time at Duke, Rheaya served as the Graduate Assistant at the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, contributed to research on communication & medical education, and advocated for the health & care of marginalized communities.
They will complete psychiatry residency training at the University of Pennsylvania in June 2025. Throughout residency, Rheaya has gained experience in an array of behavioral healthcare areas, including: inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, mood and anxiety disorders, geriatrics, trauma, addiction, psychotherapy, LGBTQIA+ health and more. Rheaya is passionate about inclusive care and working alongside clients to help them achieve their goals. They are excited to join the incredible staff at Radical Healing.
