Rakhee Devasthali, MD
(she/her)
Dr Rakhee Devasthali is excited to join this group as a collaborating doctor for the medical providers. She is the owner and physician at Community Love Direct Primary Care and is glad to see more heart-forward healthcare structures being created here in Durham. She knows from seeing the system from the inside and from hearing terrible stories from countless patients that the system was not built for us – for poor people, for Black, Indigenous and People of Color, for women, for Trans folks, for fat folks, for queer folks and so we are forging something better ourselves. Dr Rakhee is committed to creating systems where both providers and patients are treated as the valuable full people we are.
“My hope is that primary care at Radical Healing will feel like a trusted partner in the health journey and a space our patients know they can come to for clear, compassionate and accessible care, health information and guidance.” -Rakhee Devasthali
